Our Beautiful Baby Boy had the most amazing care at Southampton General Hospital on the PICU unit during the last few days of his life. The nurses and doctors got us through the worst time of our lives and we really can’t thank them enough.
He died of a very rare lung condition called Aveolar Capillary Dysplasia on Monday 14th August 2023 after only 15 days of life.
Friends of PICU help to support the NHS and provide the very best of care to Critically ill Children and their families at the regional Intensive Care Unit at Southampton University Hospital. The unit cares for children from across the South of England and Channel Islands.
